El colegio St. John’s tiene como uno de sus objetivos que sus alumnos puedan insertarse en la comunidad que lo rodea y ayudar a los sectores necesitados de la misma. Es así que trabaja con instituciones de bien público, fomentando así el espíritu de solidaridad de sus alumnos.
Desde muy chicos, a través de la Red Solidaria, los alumnos participan activamente en colectas puntuales, según necesidades específicas del momento, sin descuidar por ello un trabajo sistemático con comedores escolares, un hogar de ancianos, el hospital público de Pilar y la biblioteca pública de Pilar, donde nuestros alumnos mayores dictan clases de computación, inglés y matemática a grupos de alumnos de hogares carenciados.

One of the aims of St. John’s is that our students may be useful to the community in which they live and that they might help the needy within that community. With that aim in mind, the school interacts with welfare institutions, fostering solidarity in our students.
Ever since they are very young, through our contact with Red Solidaria, students take up an active role in drives which vary according to the specific needs of the moment, but they also work systematically with lunch programmes in schools in poor neighbourhoods, a home for the elderly, the Pilar public hospital and the Pilar public library, where our older students offer computer studies, English and mathematics lessons to children from needy homes.
